BAMBI ALEXANDRA

 Once upon a time, sixteen year old Bambi Alexandra was lured into a dive bar on the old Minneapolis West Bank by a siren song. There, she met the Blues and fell in love. Bambi Alexandra was born in New York, a daughter of Haiti & the Celtic Isles, but she has always called Minnesota home. She grew up on the Folk music of Woody Guthrie, and perhaps from there developed a love of storytelling. She has lived and loved the blues for decades, and has a story to tell. Find her singing her song wherever there is room for the Blues, from the juke-joint to the festival stage. She has a lush, earthy, voice, and is a lively entertainer. She can deliver a heart-wrenching slow blues, or a ribald shuffle with equal conviction, and is beloved by audiences everywhere. Her debut CD, ‘The Devil You Know’ was released in 2019, her new CD, ‘True Story’, of Blues originals, is out now!
